Alaska Northern Outfitters was founded by lifelong residents of Seward, Alaska. The dramatic coastline of Kenai Fjords National Park, Resurrection Bay and Prince William Sound is our home and we know it well. We work with groups of up to 40 passengers, depending on trip type, to develop unique, well-suited custom charters. The following are examples of some of the adventures we can assist with, and we are always interested in trying something new.

Fishing

We specialize in custom fishing charters for private groups, and can accommodate up to 40 passengers with 20 fishing at the same time. We fish with everyone from the lone fisherman to very large groups. Alaska Northern Outfitters has two different vessels to choose from, both very nice.

Hunting

During the Spring and Fall seasons, Alaska Northern Outfitters offers hunting excursions into the outer reaches of Alaska including remote parts of Prince William Sound and the rugged coast of the Kenai Peninsula. We offer coastal black bear, Sitka blacktail deer, mountain goat, and guided waterfowl hunts.

Private Eco-Tours

We also specialize in custom sightseeing, kayaking, whale watching, bird watching, hiking, camping, and other adventures utilizing Alaska Northern vessels as staging platforms. We can provide sleeping accommodations onboard, or shuttle to the beach in our skiffs for camping. The possibilities are endless in Resurrection Bay, Kenai Fjords National Park, Prince William Sound and Kodiak.

We are lifelong Alaskans with extensive experience in this area and can create an excursion to fit your interests.

Marine Research:

We are pleased to offer our vessels as platforms for marine research on an extended basis, and strongly support efforts to enhance scientific knowledge about the Gulf of Alaska. Our larger vessels were designed and built to withstand Alaska's sometimes rugged seas. Though we tend to avoid uncomfortable weather for our fishing and touring passengers, our vessels can be safely operated in inclement seas if necessary. We are willing to work with clients on any special davits, equipment or other needs. Please call for more information.

Diving

We welcome the opportunity to provide a comfortable and versatile platform for diving excursions. At present, very little diving takes place in Resurrection Bay, Prince William Sound or Kenai Fjords National Park. There are numerous opportunities for exploration. We are glad to assist in finding a certified guide/instructor for diving excursions.

Accommodations

Our vessels can comfortably sleep between 2 and 12 passengers on overnight excursions. We are experienced (some would say good) chefs, and flexible in preparing menus to satisfy any tastes.
